These were done over the Chrismas break, but due to USB lead going AWOL, only now got the pics off the camera.

Chrome door garnish/trim:


Chrome handbrake button:


The garnish was off a Lexus at the scrapyard. It is chrome electroplated aluminium. You have to be really careful taking it off - the aluminium is really thin and will bend really easily. I messed up taking the driver's side one off (even though I took the whole trim including the metal, rubber and felt bits home to work on), so my driver's door is still black and I'm on the lookout for another lexus.

The handbrake button was the black plastic button sprayed with a chrome rattle-can paint and then buffed using a dremel buffing attachment and cutting polish. http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=64512 for details of how to remove the button.
