these are local to me, he wants $850CDN
they are extremely light (18-19lbs) if you look on wheelweights.net they are one of the lightest cast wheels ever made they aren't in great shape, you can tell by the pics i would probably get them powdercoated gold (costs $400 CDN) the problem is I really wanted 17s for comfort even tho they are 18s they shouldn't slow me down because they are so light what do you guys think of them, would you get them taking into account they are 18" and what do you think of his price? Dont rush. If getting 17's at 8J really what you want then hold out. Worst thing you can do is buy a set at a bargain which dont fit or not 100% what you want and then having to pay more to powdercoat them and buy spacers.
I've got a set of 17 8J Supertourismo's for next to nothing after 4 months of hunting around. IT was trashed but I have them stripped and powdercoated from black to white and the total cost was still a bargain. 18's are a hard ride and not ideal if you want some comfort and even harder if you're having stiffer suspension setups to avoid arch rub. |
