Since we're on the topic sunroof here, might as well post my quick question here. Grasby, hope you don't mind me posting on your thread.
My question is, does anybody know how NOT to make the sunroof work? I just want to temporary disable the sunroof switches since the kids have the habit of playing with it everytime they ride the Celica. I've looked for a separate fuse for the sunroof but couldn't find any. I'm guessing that it's tapped on the DOORS fuse, after some trial and error in removing fuses one at a time. I know I could just unplug the motor but I don't want to go thru the process of removing and putting the roofliner back on everytime. Too much hassle. Hoping for your advise (quick fix) on this one. Thanks! BTW - Does anybody have a wiring diagram/schematics of a 6GC? |

Remove the bolt, take off the switches assembly, unplug it and snap that switch assembly piece back and bolt it back up. I was thinking of just pulling out a fuse or something (or maybe installing a hidden "kill switch") since I'll be turning it OFF and On a couple of times a week. What you suggested maybe just the easiest thing to do then. I'll do it later, and just leave it "inoperative" for a while. Thanks. |
