Im not sure if this is in the right section. But since ive got my rims i want to get rid of the rust that i can now see on my brake discs. Wanted to make sure on how to do it. Is it as simple as taking some sandpaper and rubbing it until it comes off? If so how do i polish it back up too?

Reason why you are getting that is because your rotors are more exposed to air as you can tell, your finger and hands can touch everything in between the spokes, this exposes this to the elements faster. Fix - just drive it, itll disappear after a few stops. True fix? There is none, climate and your new rims will be something you have to get used to. Don't worry about it, thats how it is.
