Im not sure if this is in the right section. But since ive got my rims i want to get rid of the rust that i can now see on my brake discs. Wanted to make sure on how to do it. Is it as simple as taking some sandpaper and rubbing it until it comes off? If so how do i polish it back up too?

My aftermarket rotors also rusted at the hub, probably within a week of having them. It's just what they do I think. I didn't get cheap or junky rotors either, they're quality stuff. I actually literally like 2 days ago bought high temp silver to spray over the center hub, which I will be doing next weekend. I chose silver so it would be subtle, but if it's not, at least it'll match my silver car tongue.gif

For those of you with Brembo rotors, did yours rust around the hub too?

Yes. I was going to pre-treat them prior to install, but I was so damn giddy to get them installed and see what they looked like that I never did... frown.gif
