hey everyone, quick question.
I was in the process of boostin the car last week. had everything done. <255 Walboro, 460 injectors, feed lines, drain lines, turbo mounted and Intercooler piping ran> had the car towed up to the shop to have a downpipe made for it, but, they didnt have the right flange in stock and had to special order it. i couldnt go a whole week without my car. so, i got my car back. put the old exhaust manifold and car back on. Walboro 255 fuel pump and 460 injectors are still in. now when i start my car... my car idles like crazy and im running very rich. i understand im rich cause the extra fuel going into the motor. but would that explain the insane idle too? it seems as if it is missing. but, i pulled out ONE spark plug at a time to see if they made a difference. all my spark plugs and wires are fine. so then i unclipped each injector one at a time. and those are all fine. car should be going back to the shop this week to finish the turbo. but i would like to see if i can fix the problem. any thoughts? am i right about the fuel -------------------- |

So your stock injectors flow, say, somewhere around 190cc/min and you put in injectors that are now flowing 460cc/min into your engine, and since you aren't taking any fuel out with the SAFC you really are forcing like two and a half times more fuel into the engine as it's designed to handle.... and you don't see how that would be the source of all the problems you're having?
