well i was working on my celica, changing the struts and noticed it has abs sensors on all the wheels, so i started looking further and the abs motor and valve body is there too. Now i didnt know the car had abs when i bought it, kuz its not working. ive check every fuse and relay that i thought of, and all are fine. i did notice the front sensor wire was taped up, so it may be damaged. is it possible the car has abs, but the sensor is bad and the abs light in the dash is burnt or not there, so it doesnt light up? where is the abs light in the gauge cluster? its a 94 gts.

Your ABS light should come on when the key is in the ON position while it checks the system just like all the other warning lights. If it does not then you either don't have ABS or the light is out.
Check for codes in the ABS system, if there are any codes they will still show up even if the light on the dash is out. This post has been edited by hurley97: Feb 7, 2009 - 11:50 PM -------------------- |
