Ok, so I am needing to clean the engine in my ST.
I need to clean it inside and out. When I took off my throttle body, I noticed quite a lot of carbon, so I can just imagine what the intake manifold etc. look like. Also, it has a leaky valve cover gasket(new one is on its way), and it has 190k miles on it, so it needs a good cleaning. What do you use for cleaning the engine, such as purple power etc.? Also, what do you recommend for cleaning the inside of the engine? I have heard mixed reviews on stuff like seafoam, b12 chemtool, etc. What do you guys recommend? |

carburetor cleaner, seafoam, deep creep (aerosol can of seafoam lol) or you can take the intake mani off and clean by hand, but expect that to take all day and remember where everything goes (vaccum lines mainly)
