Ok guys. As many of you know i am going to be turboing my celica towards the end of this month/beginning of march. I have a 1994 celica GT coupe with 98k on it. The compression and leak tests went perfect. i only need to get a new valve cover gasket. I plan on turboing with a t3/t4 (ebay turbo). i know im probly gonna take some sh!t for the turbo but honestly i dont care. its my car and i will do with it what i choose. the numbers will show haha. But ive been talkin to Jim for the past 2 years about my build. The original plan was to drive over to jersey and jim and i would install it. but recently i found a garage and dyno that are very close to me. so i will be using that garage to install my turbo set up with my good friend Cam (Boosted185). I cant thank Jim and Cam enough for helping me out with this. I started off as this kid with no knowledge of cars what so ever and now i have alot more knowledge to where i can start my build. Jim really helped me learn alot and i cant thank him enough. Ive asked so many questions (some more then once

Yes, a properly welded fitting will work fine, key word being properly. IMO, I would rather eliminate the risk by using a factory pan. Either way, goodluck and can't wait to see some progress on this project.

It's not like I'm against welding a fitting to the pan, that's how I have with my return line. -------------------- |
