hmm well i do have ebay headers you can see pics on my profile. Also it only sounds like tin can in 1st and 2nd gear after 4k rpm's, if i have my foot all the way to the floor.
I really like the way it sounded when i first got my cat back magnaflow exhaust. Thats when i still had my oem headers with the cat converter in the headers. If i get magnaflow resonator (which is 14" long and will cost $110 for install and everything), im afraid it wont sounds as good as it does now. Actually, what you're looking at from MagnaFlow isn't a resonator, it's a round straight-through muffler. The exterior shape is similar to that of a resonator, which is why people tend to make the mistake. A resonator is an echo chamber, designed to bounce sound waves into each other. The collision cancels the sound waves out, translating the energy from sound to heat (not that you'd be able to measure the heat generated). A straight-through muffler, on the other hand, is a perforated pipe wrapped in insulation (in MagnaFlow's case, it's ceramic matting backed by stainless steel wool). Vibrations are absorbed, rather than cancelled out. A resonator is good for smoothing the tone of the exhaust, and somewhat reducing the volume.
