Hey guys,

I have the 96-99 fog lights already installed in my car. I was just wondering how can I run them to turn on when you just have the parking lights on? Right now, it only turns on when I put the headlights on. Oh, and I have the OEM light switch for the fog lights and I'm not thinking of running another aftermarket switch just for this.

It is possible to turn fogs on anytime you want smile.gif
- with ignition on
- with parking lights on
- with low beams on
- with high beams on
- even with turn signals wink.gif

only you need is:
a) remove foglight relay

b) plug pair of wires instead of that

c) other end connect to "switching mechanism" (for you it means find where switch contacts for parking lights are... so just find two correct wires on multi-switch for headlights and connect it there)

no cutting, no irreversible processes at all...

Are these the (+)'s from both the fogs?

relay it self has four wires. two are "switching" ones (when signal comes they just do the job of the switch) and other two are just "connecting" (those you connect together... connected = fogs are on, not connected = fogs are off). I'm using those "connecting" ones. If you make shortcut between those two wires in the picture your foglights will be permanently on.

Malpaso, I'm gonna do that to my car when I get a chance! But because I'm a wiring noob... I have to ask the dumb question of the day. What did you use to plug the wires into where the relay was?

You should be able to get away with using this:

exactly that's what I have used...
