I need your opinions. Here is a list of the cylinder head work I am currently having done to my car as well as having the bottom end rebuilt with forged pistons, connecting rods, and the whole shibang.
Pocket Port Competition Port & Polish Deshrouded & Polished Combustion Chambers Back-Cut Valves Radiused Blend Seats Competition Three-Angle Valve Job Hand-lapped & Vacuum-Tested Valve Seats Cylinder Head Deburred & Blueprinted Combustion Chambers C.C.'d Detailed Matched Intake Manifold Fully Ported to Head Matched Throttle Body Match Port Exhaust Manifolds Port Faces Lapped Flat Decks Milled & Lapped Combustion Chambers Welded & Reshaped (clover-leaf pent-roof design) Intake Valves Lightened Rocker Arms Lightened Fully Balanced & Blueprinted Valve Spring Shims Now what I want to know is what turbo you guys would suggest for between 400- 550 horses at 2 bar of boost. Stroker kit. I think you can get one for 2.4l.
If I were you, all that money you just sunk into a FE head would have been more than enough reason to have a GE head put on there. Well you did it anyway...were past that now. Get ARP to make you any and all bolts you need. 8.5:1 comp (Most likely lower) will be a must for that much. Metal head gasket Get a BIG MR2 turbo kit....BIG 3" exhaust Full stand alone EMS (You will never see more than 300hp with out it) 720cc injectors (more injectors may be needed) Big A$$ intercooler Better rad. TRD thermostat Hella strong clutch Fidenza flywheel TRD LSD I would get CP pistons and pauter rods but you can get which ever you feel is better. I dont see the 5sfe holding up with anything less than neer perfect tuning and all of the bast safty equipment ect. gauges, TT, boost controler.........
