ok so after a couple weeks of running from one parts store to the next
and custom modifying parts to fit my car im starting to think i dont have the 7a-fe whenever i try to get parts, and tell them i have an st its never the right part, at least not when it comes to the engine and transmission etc... my car was rebuilt at some point, and my aunt said it was an ST when i bought it from her but im thinking that either i have a different transmission, or a different engine so two questions 1. where on the engine do i find the identifying stamp 2. where can i find the same thing on the trans, and anyone know anywhere i can go for info on the trans? my pride an joy has been locced away in the shop for weeks i can hear him calling to me from across the street please help me get ahab bacc out onto the streets lol thanks |

You may also wish to look at engine pay shots on the site here.
st engine bay: gt engine bay: its also hard to see, but the 7afe (top pic) sits vertical, where the 5sfe (bottom pic) sits at an angle. -------------------- you know why they put sheep at the edge of a cliff.... that way they push back!
(2:27:32 AM) edit: please f*cking work, f*ck, sh*t, piss (2:28:08 AM) edit: that did the trick |
