So luis picked up a 94 GT hatch, fenders are a little banged up but she cleaned up nicely and will surely look great when its all done smile.gif
It was quite an adventure getting this car back home tongue.gif

rev limiter cuts fuel only

if they down shifted from a high gear hauling ass to a low gear the engine can./will accelerate past rev limit because the engine is getting its power to spin from the inertia of the car and NOT the actual burn of th A/F mixture.

Same reason 7th gen GTS' oil pumps explode. Down shifted and forced over redline
