I have a Celica AT200, and is currently looking for some new wheels and tires. What is the perfect wheel size on my Celica? I am planning to lower it too.
Any answers will be appreciated! |

I'm in the process of buying some lighweight 17" wheels to replace the stock 16" on my GT4. Theres lots of pot holes near me and I don't want a bumpy ride or to damage the suspension, so I wondered what the largest profile tyre is I'd get away with? Prefferably I'd like 225/55/17. What do you guys think, would this be ok or would it rub? Also I was wondering if you compared a 205 tyre to a 225 tyre....when inflated is it likely that the 205 would look smaller side on from the 225 and in a way giving you a little extra profile? Thanks Ian good plan on the lightweight 17s think about 17x8 oz's, they are super light and beautiful and popular on gt-fours 225/45/17 fills the fender, i really doubt that 225/55/17s would fit also the 225/45/17s should be enough rubber to cushion the pot holes |
