My car runs perfectly never had any problems..but when i start my car up it emits white smoke for a few seconds then stops, and it never does it while im driving. Should i just use sea foram next time i get my oil change and see if that does the trick? and just so i dont have to start up anouther thread... I am new to exhaust mods. I saw this in anouther thread a just have a few questions. Someone mentioned this brand and i found the exhaust on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MAGNAFLOW-M...sspagenameZWD1V ..Is this a direct bolt on..and would i need to buy anything else to install it. Sorry for bieng a newb and as usual thanks for the help.

couldn't determine how serious the problem is...

I'm pretty sure i've got bad valve seals because I get the start-up smoke and dont' have a bad idle, although its a little high. Are bad valve seals just something to live with i.e. topping off oil or is it something that should be replaced sooner than later? I plan to replace them on my next TB/WP but should I do it sooner?

I just put my celica in the garage to get new valve seals as well as a build. I had blue smoke at start up for about 10 seconds. The guy gave me a call and said it was in fact the seals. It's pretty expensive and if I wasn't doing a build on it, I wouldn't have bothered because i was only loosing about a teaspoon of oil a week.
