Does anyone have a good place to order an intake for 96 GT? I bought one off ebay from celica performance and it does not fit. Therefore, ebay is not one of my fav places to buy things so any help would be nice! thanks

Sorry, not true. The piping on mine stays cooler than the underhood temps. The cooler outside air flowing through it keeps it cool. Obviously by the time the air reaches the intake manifold its not at the same temp it was when it entered, but its a lot cooler than it would be if it was just pulling air from under the hood.
You wouldn't want to cool the intake with engine coolant...that would heat it up....a lot. It would be possible to cool it with something else, but not really worth the trouble. It would be just as easy to use nitrous to cool it. |
