dont get all upset man if ur is doing fine thats great makes me feel better i own one but iv seen a few twist their rods and snap and put hole straight thru block not the 5s but still a non turbo motor go turbo........but like i said this is toyota not ford..............however most guys i know that turboed their honda or mit. have either knocked a whole in top of piston(how it happend idk) and tor up their rings but they over do it too..........to be honest im suprized it lasted 4yrs with 5s stock.......makes me wanna fix mine up all tho i already pulled it......oh yea and calm down i beleive you im just jealous you have runnin turbo car and i dont lol ......it does make me think y they would stegthen the 3sgte rods im not upset at all, i just dont want the misinformation to continue. "knocking the whole top of the piston" and "twisting rods" dont happen without bad tuning. as i said before, i am not the only one running a well built 5sfte that runs well, we have several members running sucsessfull turbo setups, including supershannon77, who has the highest stock longblock whp and TQ to date, and several more in the process. they didnt "stregthen" the 3s rods. again, its not the rods, its the bolts. the 3s ones are larger. -------------------- Former Team 5SFTE pro member ;)
