okay so cold air intake, being the first mod that about every car enthusiast does on their car at first. i know i was one of them.
anyways use the search button in the right hand corner, and also stickies under engine/transmission/maintenance. I have a cold air intake right now with 3inch piping. bout to improve on it to make it go underneath the battery and the radiator resevor. so ya use the search button. CAI is better This post has been edited by BonzaiCelica: Mar 10, 2009 - 10:57 PM -------------------- Group buy to replicate Narrow E series transaxle parts

CAI is better This is totally a myth. The additional severe bends and extra length of piping negates the meager increase you would get from the colder air on an NA car. To be honest your stock intake is a CAI anyway - exactly how much do you think you're going to gain from this? SRI is easiest only because you don't have to worry about rain/flooding and the slight increase in power will be about the same either way. Trust me - I'm sure I've done 50+ SRI/CAI's on various members 6GC's and other Toyotas. |
