I need to change my timing belt + water pump + heat sensor and there's a little bit of oil leaking from the head gasket... So i thought that intstead of buying a $50+ Timing belt, a water pump, a $25 heat sensor and so one i could, instead, buy this... It seems that every parts are OEM or match OEM standards.... plus i'd get the pistons for free... Anyone knows if this kit reliable? it seems like a good deal seeing that a timing belt, idler & tensioner pulleys, water pump, heat sensor (i'm guessing you mean thermostat?) and head gasket can cost up to $500 or more for OEM toyota parts. for normal maintenance you don't need new pistons and rings, extra seals, and all those other bits unless you plan on pulling your motor out for a complete rebuild. plus, there is usually some risk with non-OEM products so it really comes down to how long you want to keep your engine running for... lol
