So here it is. I either want to be convinced it is possible to fix my frame damage on my car, or that it would be best to just get my hands on a shell and swap things over. Which ever is less timely and costly if you catch me. Nothing is consistent. I take apart my bumper and such, and when I put it all back, my headlights or bumper to hood is off. I have done this plenty of times and can do it very quickly, and possibly in my sleep, but each time, nothing right. I have only got it in the closest to perfect 1 time, and was afraid of it nothing being right when I did it the last time after resealing my projectors. Well guess what? I now have a small gap from my LH projector to the hood, in addition to my slight problem with the gap from the bottom of the projector (very noticeably) to near where the bumper connects to the fender. I want to paint my car red eventually, but if I do another color other than black, it is going to stand out way more.
Can anyone tell me what to do? Should I just get another car? If when I order a front clip, can I just cut the frame and weld that front clip on? Get a new shell and work from there? I am lost. -------------------- 91 MR2 Turbo SW20, 92 MR2 Turbo SW20, 95 Celica GT ST204

yours isn't as bad as mine.. lol.
this is where you can use spacers to make the necessary adjustments. but it looks to me that all you need is a new headlamp bracket (the thing that is bolted to your frame rail where the bottom of the headlights bolt on to) and a GT4 upper bumper metal support. -------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |

Really? Oh, to answer your question Joe, I bought it with a salvaged title. What happened was that a diesel or some truck hit the car on that side and they did a really crappy job welding the upper radiator support bar and other brackets. So I simply bought a new radiator support bar thinking that would correct the problem. Unfortunately, as you can see, it did not. So now I need to discover the best, least time consuming, and cheapest or most cost effective way to fix that. Because I am restoring the car to it's natural color, which is red. Shockingly, the car and the GT4 parts came in red, so it was meant to be. I want her to be naturally beautiful again. I think AZian advanced might have nailed my problem on the head though. Any idea how to obtain the right spacers and the headlamp brackets? I dunno how to get this, because we never see these cars at a junkyard here. -------------------- 91 MR2 Turbo SW20, 92 MR2 Turbo SW20, 95 Celica GT ST204
