So I received a phone call this morning from WALKER, and it went a little something like this:
KAOS: "Hello...?" WALKER: "Whats up? You at home right now?" KAOS: "Yup just working on the Vee-Dub all day today..." WALKER: "Cool; we'll be there shortly..." About a half hour later, "WALKER" and "ZenAutoworks" (Dave & Sean) pull up to my house... ... I was ready with my camera... lol. (Sorry for the Blair Witch effect, but if you listen carefully, you can hear me giggling like a little school girl... ok, you don't have to listen all that hard. ) This car is a dream come true for me; I can only imagine how the new owner feels. Somebody correct me if Im wrong, but I believe this is the first WRC GT-FOUR in Canada and its owner, WALKER: And David was nice enough to let me have my way with his car... No emblems were hurt in the having of my own way: Random Engine Pics: And now who of you out there can tell me what this is a picture of: The interior is mint; such a great find! I didn't really have much time to take any more pictures; but I did get to go for a quick ride in it... and wow - is it ever weird riding in the passenger seat of a right hand drive vehicle... The battery died on me right away, but you can see the auto-climate control and the huge bulge of a hood that the GT-Four is... lol. Enjoy! ... I'm totally set on buying one now... Thanks Dave & Sean; you totally made my day!! This post has been edited by KAOS: Mar 14, 2009 - 2:24 PM -------------------- |

For those of you that don't know, I ran into this when I had my first JDM and I was going crazy looking for a dial to turn up the brightness of the dash.
JDM Celicas (I've had 3 of them including my GT-Four) do not have anything installed in that place, it's a blank circle, they don't come with dash dimmers. The backlight on the dash only has 2 modes, on or off. Cuts_the_pilot's GT-Four WRC is an export model (Australian version) and has the same dash dimmer that comes in USDM Celicas, also notice his manual aircon in his other pics. A common thing to be installed in that place is a switch to short the hand brake circuit on the DVD head unit when an LCD is installed as it only displays when the handbrake is up as a safety standard. But since it is a turbo car, it's most likely to be something to do with boost. -------------------- Mike W
