please help Options

If any one can give me a idea of what is wrong with my car it will be greatly appreciated. That being said...

I was driving my car down to my work to see my schedule. on the way (I was going about 55) i didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. Then on the way out I shifted up until 5th gear waiting till about 3grand each shift.

When i went to slow down at a red light i tried to down shift but couldn't get it into 4th i then tried every gear and it would not engage. i then had to use my brakes pretty hard to avoid going through the intersection. when the car came to a complete stop i could finally shift into 1st. so i continued down the road and at every time i tried to slow down and downshift i could not and was forced to pull over on the shoulder.

I really have no idea why this is happening. I am 16 by the way and i just thought it was some inexperience showing but realized something was wrong. I even had my dad drive it and had the same problem. I also had the clutch replaced about 4 months ago.
