my trunk does not simply pop open ... i have to push it up ... o i was wondering what those bars on the side are called an how much they cost?

hmm trdproven you'd think ebay would be cheap but its not. $85, don't think they have any on ebay right now only for coupes.

but man thats sounds good cheap price to from advance auto parts thanks. i totally forgot going to local autostores. Thanks!

They are pretty cheap. even at 85 dollars that is not a bad deal. Some places sell theirs locally at 60 a piece 120 a pair of course. Plus those parts take a long time to wear out, so your investment will be worth it, it will be the last time you change it ever again. mine is still original from 94 - working.
