As several of you know, I recently parted out an ST. Well, as it turns out, the 7AFE and it's automatic transmission are in incredibly low demand Who knew that when someone pulled the 7AFE out that they would want to put something more powerful back in??? So that leaves me with a 7AFE and trans sitting in my garage. I have an uncle who happens to be an excellent welder and has a LOT of scrap metal sitting around. So after reading some of the more recent threads on here, namely the one Exterior Styling where gokarter put a rubber lip in his front bumper. Everyone starting talking about how the lip matched his name. I started thinking... Celica, go-kart... Celica, go-cart... What if I bought a few supplies, and had my uncle build me a frame (with a kick-a** roll cage hahahaha) and mount that 7AFE on it? It would be heavy, yes, but it would be the most BA go-kart in Southern Illinois. 110 HP isn't very much in a Celica, but it'd be massive overkill on a one-off go-kart. So do you guys think I should do this? And if so, how would I do it? Keep in mind that I do still have the transmission, and I'm not sure whether I should use it or not. So... Tell me!

No, no progress yet I've been busy out looking for jobs ever since I got this idea, and then I got two in the same week, and a third, but that's only on certain weekends and over the summer, so it doesn't really count. So now I'm busy working and going to school all the time. Plus a setback, a big one for me because I don't really know what I'm doing, I literally just realized a couple of weeks ago that my friend didn't pull the ECU when he pulled the motor. Which is my fault for not checking, because I could have got it out myself. Now, I know that I'd rather not have an ECU on this go-kart because I would be doing some pretty stupid stuff in it and I want as little electrical as possible, but I honestly don't know anything about making that motor run without the ECU. And now that I have some money coming in, I'm planning on buying a Supra, so I don't know when I'll have money to do this. And I know how I am, so in all reality, this probably isn't going to happen anymore. But somebody can have the motor if they want to do this!
That Acura-powered kart is probably the coolest thing I've seen in two months. -------------------- "Employ your time in improving yourself by other men's writings, so that you shall gain easily what others labored hard for." -Socrates. Even Socrates told us to use the search button!
