Looking for a 1994 Toyota Celica ST Engine M/T. Needs to have low miles on it and in good condition. My car has a 1.8 liter 7A-FE engine, and is starting to have too many miles on it.
I am looking to spend about $1,500, for a stock engine with low miles. Price can be flexible obviously if engine is brand new or if it has aftermarket parts on it (must run and have low miles). Please contact me on this website or email at -Mgnt232@hotmail.com- with any questions or offers. thanks- I live in the Albany, NY area. -------------------- |

The 4AGE really is the way to go, but I hear you when you say you are on a budget. That isn't a really expensive motor as far as swaps go, but it's going to be a bit more than simply replacing your 7AFE with another 7A. The silvertop is just a variation of the 4AGE, and it refers to the valve cover they put on the motor. The silvertop literally has a silver top. The blacktop literally has a black top.

I'm probably mistaken because I am not very familiar with the 4A motors, but I believe the blacktop is more powerful than the silvertop??? Somebody please feel free to correct me. -------------------- "Employ your time in improving yourself by other men's writings, so that you shall gain easily what others labored hard for." -Socrates.
