Looking for a 1994 Toyota Celica ST Engine M/T. Needs to have low miles on it and in good condition. My car has a 1.8 liter 7A-FE engine, and is starting to have too many miles on it.

I am looking to spend about $1,500, for a stock engine with low miles. Price can be flexible obviously if engine is brand new or if it has aftermarket parts on it (must run and have low miles). Please contact me on this website or email at -Mgnt232@hotmail.com- with any questions or offers. thanks- I live in the Albany, NY area.

well i had the same problem with my 7a plus the valves were really bad. the 4age is a dual cam motor out of the corrollas in japan. the silvertop and blacktop were the last two kind they came out with. they swap right into your car without to much hassle or custom fab work. so i got the whole 4a swap from japanstarmotors.com for like 900 bucks no shipping. the swap isnt that bad you just need to pull the old one, drop the new one in then do the wiring for it. im not gonna lie it sucked dick so i just let Dr. Tweak do it cause he's been doing it since Jesus was around so he knows a thing or too haha. but yeah man if youve never had a turbo car then the upgrade from 7a to 4a will be great i mean i was in the same boat as you not knowing much about working on motors but once you get into its really fun. if you want any more help just pm or search the forums.

not sure what dr. tweak is? but any how, thanks for the info. and when you say re-wire what exactly do you mean? does the new engine come with a harness? or an ecu? but if its not to hard from what your saying i am really considering this site to buy mine off. just pull mine out, and drop the new 4a i, using the same engine mount bolts. but this will all work, what happens to the alt. and water pump? and all those things do i have to buy all new or are they with it, sorry its alot of questions but if you could do your best in answering it would be much appreciated .
