Hello, everyone. One of my stock rods broke and now I have to pull apart the engine and swap rods and pistons. I don't want to replace them with stock. I need stronger rods & pistons for my 3SGTE motor. Any recommendations as to which ones I should get and from where at a reasonable price?
And is 8.5 - 9.0 compression ration good? I'm just above 400WHP... Thanks much... -------------------- I drive a Celica. Anything "less" is just a car! |

Thanks, Iburner... I really appreciate it. I wouldn't use JE pistons, I've heard bad thing about them in 3sgtes. I would use either CP or Arias. I got my Eagle rods from www.935motorsports.com for $300. I'm also going 8.5:1 with Arias pistons, Eagle rods and ACL race bearings with a hp goal of 450-500 awhp. GL on the project! |
