I have decided to turbo my 5sfe and was wondering what hits the oil filter and if there is a way to get around relocating it

If you have a 94 you will be okay. The stock 3sgte downpipe will clear the oil filter, but changing oils will be a pain in the behind. Now if you have a 98 5sfe the oil cooler is located higher which means the oil filter will not clear the dp.

BOOST gauge is a must. oil pressure i recommend and also a Wideband A/f ratio just to make sure your not running too lean. water temp is also important if your stock gauge doesnt work. you will need some sort of tuning device. AFC or a piggyback/standalone. i am using the Apexi Neo to pull my fuel. up to you on that one. i also would recommend a turbo timer so you dont kill your turbo. those are the *important* things if you ask me. -------------------- |
