well, my car has been sitting for half a year. my dad and i just got it running again yesterday after completely rebuilding the motor because one of the rings spun on the arm of the piston. now, whenever i turn on the air, it kills my rpms and tries to kill the car completely. any ideas of what the problem might be?

When you turn on the air, is your air conditioner on?
You absolutely want to test the alternator and make sure it's putting out the correct voltage and continuity --------------------  |
