well i was getting my cv axles replaced today and the guy didnt put on the little shives what ever they are one either end of the shaft after the boot. so it didnt sit properly and the pass. side came loose and the end where the little retaining ring is snap and got lodged in the tranny and when he started it and backed up it blew a hole in the side of the tranny and all the fluid went everywhere. so the guy had told me that we will pay for the new tranny and all i have to do is get the new cv shaft and pay him for putting the shafts on. so hopefully i will be up and running by tuesday if he can find a tranny.

on the end that goes in the tranny there is a piece that has a little retaining ring on it then a small piece. the shaft i guess slip out of the tranny and and it caught the end piece and it torqued and snaped and it got stuck in the tranny and when he put the old one cause he told me it was the wrong piece and when he started it back up it got caught in the gears or something and shot right through the side.
