Hello,
I just put a new timing belt on because my last one ( a few months old) shredded.
It now looks like my new one is doing the same. It looks like it is rubbing against the block and badly against pump. I made sure to try and center it on the pully's when I installed both of them.

Any ideas why this is happening?
Thanks

We noticed tonight that the belt was moving as it went around the tensioner. It just bolts to the block, or am I missing something that would cause it not to set flush?
