Will this work? Sensors, tranny, etc..
I found a guy who loves to do mods. He said if I get the motor, he'll do the work free; simply spread the word about him. Is it going to cost a lot in conversions? I need to do something. I threw a rod racing at 120. I miss my car reaallll bad. If this won't work, does anybody know where to find a cheap motor or rebuild kit? Thanks, peace out |

downsizing from a 2.2 to a 1.8 isn't the problem here. It's not about displacement, it's about compression. But it's a moot point since it's not a likely swap. I guess anything is possible, but what if the mechanic gets halfway through and says oh sh1t, I can't do this, and throws in the towel since he's doing it for free anyway?
You wanna do a less common swap, do a 6 cylinder swap. -------------------- |

And parts alone are going to be expensive you might as well get a complete GTS even if he does it for free. |
