Why blow-off the excess when a recirculation valve will re-use for quicker spool? I remember reading alot about this in the evo boards - saying it was quite silly to ditch the stock recirc valve for a BOV. It adds a little complexity, but it would seem very much worth the efforts. Cranky, if you would read above, he is going to turbo is 5S-FE, they are not a factory turbo motor, henceforth, they don't have a factory BOV. Also, the reason the Gen2 3S-GTEs run a recirc BOV (on the SW20s) is becuase it is meterd air that went into the engine at one point through the MAF sensor. Its really not that big of a deal weather the BOV is recirc, or not. Especially on a 5S-FE. Shannon, Brent, and a few others are not runnin recircs and are just peachy. Not trying to sound condensending, I'm just saying... -------------------- www.tweakdperformance.com contact@tweakdperformance.com |
