Well, ive started my christmas list smile.gif and i've noticed about equal number of veilside and vis kits...
i was really wondering if veilside will fit much better on my coupe then vis?? or will it be about the same? also i want duribility and all that too would veilside be better in that department?
i really wanted to make sure im getting more for my money cause if i can put that money somewhere else (like back in my pocket rolleyes.gif ) that would be nice!
so is veilside the way to go or will vis be just as good and cheeper? thanks for your replies in advance!

I got my veilside kit a few years back and regret it everyday. For as expensive as it was I figured it would fit nice, but I was WRONG. The front fit horribly, the rear fit like crap, but the sidskirts went on nice. Veilside told me it was because it was designed for the japanese version.

Designed for the Japanese version? How is a JDM Celica any different from a USDM? If you purchased directly from Veilside, I find that response rather apalling.

As for Veilside vs VIS/Erebuni... Veilside uses higher quality material in their kits... more specifically, they use carbon fiber in their kits. VIS and Erebuni use only 4 to 5 layers of fiberglass. Hence, part of the reason why Veilside is more expensive.

As for which to get, I would say it depends on how much money you have now (and later). Later may or may not become a factor. The reason why I say later is because of cases where you may get into an accident or crack the bumper by accidentally going over a sidewalk, pylon, etc. If this does happen to you, will you be willing to cough up another $800 just for a front bumper? Or would you rather save money and spend only $200 on a knock-off?
