some info on the FIC
well, how its hooked up is by intercepting the crank + signal. the FIC has an input and output, so its inbetween the crank signal and the ECU. the injector signals flow the other way out if the ECU into the FIC box then to the injectors. the software is very user friendly. right click the fuel MAP and select build base MAP. input new injector size and stock injector size. it automatically fills the cells with settings. i couldnt get a straight answer on stock injector (210-220) so i used 215 and im using RX7 460 injectors. so for anything below boost levels has a value of -53. as boost increases it is adding fuel. Timing works the same way, you can pick -1 degree for every pound of boost, or -2 degrees for evey psi. and so on. The FIC can only retard timing, it cant add. so far im really pleased with it. ill put the turbo system back on soon. i have a small fuel leak at #1 injector so i have to check that out. -------------------- 2001 Celica GT-S Turbo
