Hi guys
My MOT runs out on fri ![]() Below are pictures of the inside of the old discs, as you can see they are a tad rusty where they shouldn't be , is this a sign of seized pistons?? the sliders were all free and the pistons did go back in all be it not so easy (only had a screw driver). drivers front ![]() passenger front ![]() all 4 ![]() this is how the new disks, as you can see the rears arent doing much and the 1 front discs is still score free near the hub ns rear ![]() os rear ![]() os front ![]() can i really have 4 seized callipers?? they worked fine before i changed the discs or could it be that i haven't pushed the pistons on the callipers back far enough, if so what size of g clamp do i need to buy?? the front pads all had 2 anti squeal pads each and the rear had 1 per pad, my last celica never had any and never squealed. im just a tad stumped as i did this with my last celica (a few times) without any trouble.. so HELP lol Kev -------------------- |

did you just install the rotors, without any cleaning?
they come with a coating on them to keep them from rusting, you need to clean that off with brake cleaner before you install them. if you didnt do that, chances are the pads will never bed-in properly. -------------------- Former Team 5SFTE pro member ;)
