My steering wheel does not want to turn. When I turn the steering wheel i feel it resisting and a few moments later it turns where i want it too. It feels like the car has no power steering for a moment and feels like i get it back and then it goes out again. Thats what it feels like when i turn. What could it be? is the power steering broken?

Is the belt squealing when this is happening? What are you PS fluid levels at? Might need to fill up your power steering fluid. Then if that doesn't resolve the issue you'll need to look into replacing the PS pump.

Or remove it all. Power Steering is overrated. Build some upper body strength.
