My steering wheel does not want to turn. When I turn the steering wheel i feel it resisting and a few moments later it turns where i want it too. It feels like the car has no power steering for a moment and feels like i get it back and then it goes out again. Thats what it feels like when i turn. What could it be? is the power steering broken?

When you're steering is jerky like that, gets tight then goes loose, you have a problem with the steering knuckle. Its outside in the engine bay where the steering shaft goes through the firewall and connects to the rack. Spray it with lube and it should get a little better, if that doesn't work or only works for a little while you're going to have to replace the knuckle.
