OEM rad is WAY sufficient for a non built up 3SGTE at 400hp or less, the only thing important is thermostat (TRD 160degree does great), nature of the coolant.
Radiators are always three or four times bigger than they need, a good exemple is an old civic SI (like 97) , their rad size is half of ours and is as good as the other cars, and it is also letting more cold air entering into the engine bay. I would not pay 300buck for a rad that wont do anything more than stock one, I would search a smaller one with the same efficiency. 2cents This post has been edited by domyz: May 14, 2009 - 4:45 PM |
