First of all, thanks to everyone that voted in the polls and came up with ideas for the meet.
Here's the plan: What-The NW 6gc meet for 2009 When-July 25th and 26th Where-Astoria, OR. Camping at Fort Steven's State Park (just 20 minutes from Astoria) Why-To hang out with some cool people, save some money by camping, and enjoy the city of Astoria. Meet at: Astoria column (1500-2199 Coxcomb Dr. Astoria, Oregon 97103) Meet time: 12pm. That should give most people enouph time to get there without having to wake up really early. There is a $1 visitor fee to park at the Column, but I think it'll be well worth it. We can hang out there, snap some pics of the cars, and check out the Column for a bit. Who- Attending: 1.JustinCapps 2.96bluevert 3.Jay(gen5coosthunder) 4.Enrique 5. Black94GT Maybe: 1. ra65_22re 2. Rayneezy23 3. Legit94gt 4. Tin Foil 5. 95celicast 6.creis (no celica though) 7.bizzerk What to bring: -Celica of course (if you have one) -tent -sleeping bag -camp stove and any other camping equipment you might want/need. -camera, if you have one. -two-way radio (so we can communicate easier while driving) -food Since we don't know for sure how many people will be there, I think we will have to do a first-come first-served basis as far as the campgrounds. Here is what we will do: Meet up in Astoria. Maybe hang out in Astoria for a little while, then head over to the campgrounds to get checked in and set up camp. If anyone wants my cell # just in case something happens or you get lost for some reason, pm me! This post has been edited by 96bluevert: Jul 20, 2009 - 1:18 PM -------------------- |

If you want a hand on the weekend sometime, I'ed be happy to help, Always wanted to swap a 3s in my celica but ended up passing on it.
Looking forward to the meet, I'm debating bringing my truck rather then the subi, can sleep in the back easy and there are some cool deep sand spots that would be sick to mob though since we've got it running pretty good. If I did take it would probalby take the subi too case it dies, its a wase from being reliable. -------------------- |
