Hi, I just bought a 6th Gen Celica and it came with a transplanted 4th gen (or 5th gen - not sure) 3S-GTE from the Caldina ST215 but due to an electrical wiring flaw, the ECU got damaged.
Can anyone assist me in getting an ECU??
I am not sure if any ECU from the 3rd gen MAP sensor engines or newer (ST205 and up) can work since I think the ST215 uses coilpacks? Any info would be appreciated.

Right on. Either get a stock one or you'll have to buy a standalone like megasquirt

and just to let you know, the 4th gen was the last one... there isnt any 5th gen 3S-GTE

I'm thinking about a standalone like the Haltech E6X or the Hydra Nemesis 2.6 MR2 Turbo Plug & Play Engine Management System.

If I can get a stock ST215 ECU just to plug in back it would save me some time and hassle I guess. What's the price on the stock ECU and where can I get one??

Hi,
Still need a caldina (ST-215) ecu? One of my buddy had a spare, but it's from an auto. The ECU still work because he tested on his 4th gen 3s-gte. Not sure if he want to sell it, but I could ask him, so let me no?
