i have custom big brakes, the specs are:
-6 piston dynalite wilwood rotors (red) -2 piece 13" cross drilled and slotted rotors -aluminum rotor hat -stainless steel lines -mounting brackets and hardware i'll find and post some pics later. keep in mind that all BBK's are universal. the rotors, calipers, rotor hats are all the same. the only difference is bolt patterns, mounting bracket and hardware. (ex. when you buy new pads wilwood dont ask you what kinda car it is, they ask you what kinda rotor you have, same with rotors) if you are driving your car everyday i don't suggest getting cross drilled and slotted rotors being that they are very abrasive (you feel the pedal shake and braking isvery abrupted). also i don't suggest getting 13 inch rotors are well. i got the custom BBK simply because i compete in shows and the brakes give my car the complete look (see multi media i just posted a pic). if you are looking for a brake upgrade for a daily driver i suggest getting better pads and a performance based rotor. |

if you are looking for a brake upgrade for a daily driver i suggest getting better pads and a performance based rotor. What exactly is a "performance based rotor"? Better alloy, cryo treated, slotted, slotted and drilled, ect. Although, I NEVER recommend using a cross drilled rotor for a street car. No matter how it's done, they WILL crack. Napa carries a GREAT brembo based blank rotor for pretty cheap. I got my entire set for $95 after taxes. -------------------- |
