I am near completion of my 2nd gen 3sgte swap in place of what formerly was a 7afe. I was wondering if anyone had completed the same swap and got their AC to work. I realize the compressor has to be changed, but just curious what you all did. Any help is appreciated. It's winter now, but I won't have a heater or defroster. Summer is what I'm REALLY worried about.

No No No No No
Here is why is does't work - For those of you who are using a Celica ST as the platform for their 3SGTE project. Your Air Condition will not work without significant changes. The phyiscal hoses and exact compressor locations are trite problems easily fixed. The A/C Amplifier that is part of the HVAC system in the Celica ST uses one signal wire to kick on and off the A/C compressor. the Celica GT and ST185, ST205, SW20 share a similar style of activating the Magnetic Clutch Relay - which really gets the A/C compressor to... well, compress. This system is more advanced and takes into account a few more things. Hence that is why the AT200 HVAC system cannot run one of those A/C Compressors. Now I'm sure you can either modify the Compressor, or just replace your A/C amplifier to make the AC. Research is pending on it at Top Shelf Racing.. we busy with a Supra harness, two 4A harnesses and my own Body Control Module for me EE 470 class. -------------------- -Mike
