thought i would share what i did to the hood. its a very minor mod but saves time and is pretty practical. After getting caught in a monsoon once, i decided that would be the last time for me!





the hood i have is a VIS type, with a vent and cover, i got really tired of screwing and unscrewing when i wanted to remove the cover (especially in the rain) so i visited my local hobby-R/C shop and got some o these:












then i got some good ol epoxy and threw em in the holes!









lickety split! sometimes its the little things that count wink.gif i would strongly reccomend this cheap little move for those that plan on buying or already have this type of hood.

it would be better if it was easily removable because in 100' weather it would definitely help to have it off
