Hello!
I am interrested to learn how to jack up my car the proper way. I have a car jack as pictured below: ![]() The thing is, i have jacked up my car many times. But I have always been scared to do it a unproper way, which could cause my car dropping off the jack. That must do a great damage to the body? For example, when I lift my car with this kind of jack, I can hear the car is slipping from the jack, as I am jacking it up. Jesus, I am too scared to do this! ![]() So, what do you guys do? The places where you place the jack underneath the car is a bit dumb on Toyota... |

Personally, in the front. I stick the jack somewhere under the a-arms where it looks sturdy. I then stick the jackstand just behind the wheel well where the 2 notches are at. I then repeat on the other side.
In the back I just jack the whole thing up from the pumpkin looking thing in the rear middle. and then place the jack stands at the notched jacking points. I don't know if its technically correct, but meh... I havent had anything fall or broken anything so far. And good luck with the Coilovers.
