I am near completion of my 2nd gen 3sgte swap in place of what formerly was a 7afe. I was wondering if anyone had completed the same swap and got their AC to work. I realize the compressor has to be changed, but just curious what you all did. Any help is appreciated. It's winter now, but I won't have a heater or defroster. Summer is what I'm REALLY worried about.

I heard if you hotwired the a/c to a switch to turn on the compressor along with the fan it'll work.

i heard that somewhere too, but it wasnt related to a swap.

i think it was from a rippmods post, they ripped out their wirenarness in a blowout and they had to temp wire the ac and alternator controls.

that would work, but it would be annoying
