for all you 3s guys, when you do an oil change, how long does it usualy take to burn a quart of oil through your motor? i put my first 4 1/2 quarts in when i did the swap, noticed it was a little low, and put the other 1/2 quart in to top it off....that was about a month ago, i looked today, and its about 1/4 full on the dip stick, right above the L...i know they burn oil, and i know i drive my car a little hard, but i was wondering if this is normal for the 3s motor

Didn't you do a rebuild before you swapped the engine? Also did you rebuild the Turbo? Do you have an oil catch can with a level gauge on it?
