I'm going to replace the alternator in a few mins. Is there any "trick" to do this like going in from the bottom or is it straight forward as the Haynes book says? Thanks for any input!!

Any ideas? 2 small flat headed screw drivers and u can get in there and pop it up, i had the same issue, one straight in from the end coming from the wire, the other screw driver go in from the firewall side, should look something like ---> | U | |
