I'm going to replace the alternator in a few mins. Is there any "trick" to do this like going in from the bottom or is it straight forward as the Haynes book says? Thanks for any input!!

OK- so the plug is all cracked & stuck inside! The "tab" that is supposed to release marked "push" isn't there. Any ideas?

OK- so the plug is all cracked & stuck inside! The "tab" that is supposed to release marked "push" isn't there. Any ideas? 2 small flat headed screw drivers and u can get in there and pop it up, i had the same issue, one straight in from the end coming from the wire, the other screw driver go in from the firewall side, should look something like ---> | U | |
