Hey guys,

I remember a while back when people are doing engine work they would show pictures of a tube of toyota sealant?

I ,of coarse, am a toyota fanboy-whore and would gladly jump on the bandwagon and buy some sealant to do engine work.

Such as honda bond for hondas, is toyota sealant all that great?

anyone know if my local toyota parts dealership will have it in stock or would i most likely have to buy it online?
Where did you guys get yours? its it worth all the trouble to get some when you can easily grab some rtv from autozone/napa/kragens... ect?

I have never used any other sort of sealant. I must say that the toyota stuff is really good and of course it is way overpriced at $17 with tax included.

I just sealed my lower pan to the upper plan and when i was taking off the old sealant the lower pan was really stuck to the upper and lower oil pan. You have to use a razor blade to get that sealant loose.

and how would you use that on the camshaft housing? any diagrams or pics of what camshaft housing is??
